In a unique neighborhood of Tel-Aviv, an area full of hybrid structures and remnants of the past, is the site of a proposed housing complex. The intervention integrates in the existing fabric in its proportions, rhythm, scale and architectural language. But instead of perceiving the urban block as a collection of separate plots that leaves a lot of wasted space in between the buildings, the proposed layout unites all the public territories into a connecting public “tissue”. The composition of the buildings in the block creates a public diagonal axis, connecting different facilities.
