Closed Open-Spaces is an ongoing research project about open spaces and (unbuilt) land in Israel, led by Prof. Yael Moria, Yael C. Agmon, and Studio MA. Currently on show at the tel Aviv Museum of Art (Israel).
The project offers critical insights into the role of the open spaces in Israel by revealing the cultural conventions and political narratives that underlay the laws and regulations which define these various territories, and shape the relationships between Man, Land and State.
The research findings are presented here as part of this dynamic, ever-evolving archive, which serves as a platform for an active discourse.
